I really cant figure orlando's coaching strategy here, there 10 points down with three to go and coach says foul away boys and costs me my under, i cant figure this out, if you are down by 10 with 1.5 minutes to go i can understand why someone might wanna gamble with fouls and hope opponent miss shots and they score some fast points and threes. But with 3 damn minutes to go, why would anyone not just try to play some good defence instead of handing detroit easy free throw baskets and hope that with two or three good defences and offences you get down to 4 or so in the next 1.5-2 minutes, and hope for the best in the remaining time.
I know last minute free throws are typical in hoops, but wtf can you achieve by fouling your heart out from 3 minutes to go onwards, other than raising the score and keeping the point diff. equal. Well i tell you what they managed, orlando, they managed to raise the point diff. to 15...with detroit shooting a staggering 51 free throws over their meagre 28...
i am no sore loser guys, but i cant stand to lose on dumbass decisions made by the coach, which is obviously no einstein, but i can handle some dumbass move from on of the kids on court, but not such idiocy from a 50something "pro" coach.
